Everyone of us have in ourselves the feeling of negativity ,whether we accept it or not . We all are aware that this feelings does us no good . We all wanted to get rid of this nasty feeling but find it difficult to overcome . In this post ,we will be sharing some easy tips on how to overcome negativity and Feel Good again .
But before hopping directly to the process of recovering this feeling ,we must know what does negativity means .
Negativity is not itself a natural phenomenon ,it happens due to certain factors that are natural , some of these factors include :-

Well , negativity is nothing but one's thinking . When you think negative about any situation ,your body reacts to it and you start feeling negative . These feelings include fear , hopelessness , despair and so on . You even stop visualizing things positively . You start feeling mentally stressed and this stress leads to the blockage of your ability to think and you start over-reacting even minor things .
What cause negativity ?

Atmosphere
Atmosphere plays a key role in determining your way of looking at things and hence your behavior . When you are in constant company of people who are negative , you naturally attracts negative situations which further intensifies your negative thoughts .
Sitting vacant
"Empty brain is the workshop of a devil." when you are sitting with no work ,you start originating unnecessary thoughts which leads to overthinking and this overthinking leads to the domination of negative thoughts .
Expectations
Expectation kills happiness . Little expectation is okay , but when you start expecting too much from others ,and those expectations do not work in a way you had thought , it leads to the feeling of disappointment . Whether it is the expectations of parents from their children ,or that of a wife from her husband ,expecting too much is harmful .
Dissatisfaction
Dissatisfaction is the direct outcome of expectations . As already had pointed out ,when you expect much ,you will disappoint yourself and this will ultimately lead to the feeling of dissatisfaction .
Comparison
All of us compare our lives with that of the others in one way or other . Kids compare their toys with the ones who have better toys ; as a woman compare herself with the other woman on the basis of outfit ,hairs ,beauty ,make-up etc . A man compare himself with the other man on the basis of wealth and property ,automobiles etc . Even society compare their code of conduct with one another . This comparison gives the way to the feeling of jealousy which is again a negative thought .
How to overcome this feeling ?
As we have been though unintentionally practicing this feeling since our very childhood , it becomes a bit difficult to get rid of it completely . But by practicing some tips , we can certainly overcome negativity .
- Try to keep yourself as busy as possible .
- Indulge yourself in something which gives you joy . This will make you happy and you'll feel less negative .
- It's okay to feel beaten . Each of us feel that but don't give up .
- You'll never be happy , if you continue to hold on things or memories which make you sad .
- Everything happens for a reason and someday you will understand this .
- Feel great-full for everything you have . You are much more luckier than others .
- Life brings new challenges . When you're done with one the next waits for you . Embrace the situations wholeheartedly and face it .
- Practicing meditation and yoga even for just 10 minutes everyday can help you Feel Good and positive .
- With meditation and yoga , It is also important to live a healthy lifestyle and have a balanced diet .
These were some easy tips that you can follow to overcome the feeling of negativity . As Keats says ' A thing of beauty is a joy forever ' and this world is full of joy, happiness and beauty , but these are forgotten under the veil of negativity . So see the beauty in everything and most importantly Feel Good .
